McDonalds

A very boring post today, a picture of McDonalds which is in the Odense train station. I don't even eat there, but just wanted to show you how a Danish McDonalds looks like (i.e. exactly the same everywhere else :P) It looks small from the other side of the street, but that's only the entrance where the counters are. Then it goes off to the right which is the seating area and then an indoor exit which leads straight into the train station.

Exciting stuff!

Yeah, the best way to discover the city is by walking through it yourself. Well, walk through the city center and then bike through the other bits. I promise you will find a hundred and one interesting places along the way, even if you are going in no particular directon.

Places to go to & things to see:
    > Bike ride along the river, starting from St. Knud's church. It's beautiful in the summertime.
    > If you're into it, you should stop by the zoo. It's a little further out of town, so you may have to take a bus.
    > Visit St. Knuds and St. Albans churches. They're right in the city center (and 2 minutes away from me!)
    > If you're coming in the summertime, there's a TON of music festivals and all sorts of things going on all around the city. You just walk from one park to the next and they're there!
    > The shopping strip/area is quite nice, too. I reccomend the stores Magasin, Søstrene Grene (careful, it's easy to miss - check out the picture I posted of the entrance so you recognise it when you see it)
    > The city hall and the statues around it.

Really the best way to see the city is by bike, so don't be afraid to go out and rent one. I'm not sure where you can do that, but I know you definitely can!

Hope you have a wonderful time here. Email me if you have any other questions: toxicifswallowed@hotmail.com :)
