Beautiful Old Danish House |
This is a picture of one of the old buildings around Old Odense (you can also see my pretty pink bicycle in the shot! hehe). Unfortunately at some point, someone thought it wise to paint over the lovely old beams with that horrible yellow... and as you can see it didn't really work! They should paint over them a darker color, I think. |

got a totally unrelated question for you. Do Danes use online music like we do? Is there a site that is popular for downloading music? I like to listed to Danish pop to keep up my language skill, or at least my understanding. And the stuff I have is kind of old. Was looking for some updated stuff that is played on the radio now.

Well, I don't want to tell you where you download Danish music because that's illegal (unless the artist offers it for free on their website) - but I will tell you that if you know the name of a song you want and type it in on Google followed by "...torrent", you'll probably find something ;)
Also, there's a radio station a lot of teenagers listen to called Energy (NRJ). Did you ever listen to it when you were here? Well, you can listen to it online here: http://nrj.dk On the right, click on "Lyt her - NetRadio". It will play it through your computer.
And if you want to BUY some Danish music, CDON.dk has loads of Danish CDs.
Hope that helped!

I meant a legal download - like we use itunes. But thanks for the suggestions!

The house is a beauty!(maybe 1640's)! My father imigrated to the U.S and i still have family there. its great that a beautiful lady such as yourself, sees the beauty That lay under that awful paint! and never mentions the "M"word! (Costs, worth)it shows you to have beauty, much deeper than the surface!! Jon Hoffmann
